Gold Triangle Bangles // DIY

If you haven't entered the giveaway with Allena Mistral that I'm participating in, then DO IT! (Update: giveaway closed!)

Today we're making these beautifully simple gold triangle bangles!

For this project I used this amaaaazing liquid gold leaf stuff that I have also used to paint my shoes gold. If I'm not careful, everything I own will soon be gold.

Read on to learn how!
SUPPLIES:
-Wooden bangle bracelet (I got mine at Hobby Lobby!)
-Liquid gold leaf (regular gold paint will work as well)
-Painter's Tape
-X-acto knife
-Paintbrush
-Clear acrylic glaze topcoat

HOW:

1 & 2. Tear off a strip of Painter's Tape and cut your design out with the X-acto knife.

3. Put the tape on the bracelet.

4. Paint with liquid gold leaf (or regular gold paint, but the liquid gold leaf stuff is FANTASTIC.)

5. Give a quick coat of clear glaze topcoat.

Enjoy!

  2. It is such a wonderful idea, very simple and easy to follow. I love the way you ended your instruction with the scripture quote from Psalms, 100:3. By this I understand that you must be a believer in Christ. I am a missionary in India and one of the way I help needy people by teaching various crafts by this way sharing the Love of Christ. I will try out your bangle instruction. Meanwhile you can take a look at some of my creations at the following site:

  4. Children's bangle bracelets are often worn by young girls who love the tinkling sound of bangles in their hands.
These types of bangles can easily break as they are made of glass.
